Governor Noem outlines framework for $5 million in coronavirus relief funds for SD meat processors

On March 18, 2021, Governor Kristi Noem laid out a framework for up to $5 million in Coronavirus Relief Funds (CRF) to assist South Dakota meat processors expand capacity to respond to market and workforce disruption due to COVID-19.

BID’s first career fair, Wednesday, March 17, was a success according to Laura Peterson, who helped organize the event. She said it helped that the school personnel who accompanied the students encouraged them to visit all the tables and not just the ones they thought they might be interested in.
