Last week the ADVOCATE printed a story from the AP that the bill to promote continued fairness in women’s sports, HB 1217, had died in the Senate State Affairs committee. Based on legislative findings that “with respect to biological sex, one is either male or female” among other findings, the bill sought to block males from participating in female sports.

Dwight Hammond and his son Steven Hammond of Burns, Oregon were pardoned by President Trump in 2018, and allowed to return home after serving more than half of their five year arson sentences for the approximately 140 acres of BLM land they burned in two separate occasions in 2001 and 2006.

Just as some major cities have declared themselves to be sanctuary cities for illegal immigrants, refusing to obey federal laws regarding immigration, so this group aims to avoid obeying federal gun control laws by becoming a second amendment sanctuary county.
