Southern Plains Behavioral Health Services (SPBHS) will host a butterfly release in Gregory at 7:00 p.m., September 10, at the Park Performance Center, to draw attention to suicide prevention. September is suicide awareness month, and Sunday, September 10, is being recognized as World Suicide Prevention Day.

According to the South Dakota Secretary of State website, 354,670 of 597,073 registered voters cast a ballot in the 2022 election. As of July 2022, the state’s population was 909,824 according to the United States Census Bureau.
Cross country team has high expectations for 2023

The 2023 Gregory High School cross country boys team is strong on talent, despite losing Luke Sinclair to graduation. Returning are junior Fin Adams, who was a place finisher at state last year, sophomore Pierce Stukel, who ran at state last year, Ryler Stevicks, who qualified for state in 2022, and junior Jackson Bolander.
