Wolf is new advisor for 4-H Youth Program in Tripp/Gregory counties

South Dakota State University Extension welcomes Jamie Wolf as the 4-H youth program advisor for Tripp and Gregory counties. Wolf will lead the 4-H programs in Tripp and Gregory counties, and is looking forward to using his education and experiences to help 4-H continue to thrive and grow.
Lady Gorilla varsity and JV both go 2-1 for the week

The Lady Gorillas basketball team went 2-1 in the last week of play. On Tuesday, January 24, the girls visited Stanley County, topping them by a final score of 71-49.

Stanley and Elma spent their entire life in the Gregory area. They raised their three children on the farm that Stanley was born and raised on. Their three children, David, Linda, and Julie all attended and graduated from Gregory High School. Dave and Roxie’s three children were raised on that same farm and all attended and graduated from GHS.
Snow, snow, snow!

South Central South Dakota was again blanketed with the white stuff Friday night and Saturday with an unofficial estimate of another ten inches. The snow brought with it bitter cold temperatures for several days, but this time the winds were gentle.
Storm wrestlers extend dual record to 7-2, place 5th in Winner

The Burke/Gregory Storm wrestlers had two meets last week - a triangular hosted by Lyman and the Winner Invitational Tournament. The Storm won both of their duals at the Lyman triangular, beating Lyman 51-21 and Wessington Springs/Woonsocket/Wolsey-Wessington 38-34.
Jeremy Atkins joins Gregory Police Dept.

Gregory’s police department is almost back to full staff with the addition of Jeremy Atkins, who started on Monday, January 16. Ryan Cook will come on board in February to complete the department.
