SDSU Extension to hold pesticide applicator training

SDSU Extension will host a free Private Applicator Training (PAT) on January 21, 2026, from 1:30–4:30 p.m. CST (12:30–3:30 p.m. MT), with a focus on crops. Participants may attend online or in person at various locations across the state, including the Winner Regional Extension Center, located at 325 S. Monroe, Suite #125, Winner, SD.

A new year means new beginnings. The days get longer (we gain 50 minutes of sunshine in January alone) and it always feels like we hit warp speed into spring and summer. It’s that time of year when we all do a little self-reflection. We take a look at the last year and see all of the wonderful things that have happened, as well as some of those things we wished we could forget, depending on the year.
