    Summer burnout

Bethany Eggers, MA, LPCMH Summer is often associated with relaxation, vacations, and longer days. Yet for many people, it also brings packed calendars, shifting routines, and increased expectations. Creating intentional boundaries allows you to enjoy everything summer has to offer while protecting your time, energy, and well-being. Without clear boundaries, you may find yourself overcommitting to social events, working longer hours because schedules feel more flexible, or feeling guilty for saying no to invitations. Boundaries are not barriers; they are guidelines that help you prioritize what matters most.
