Gregory School District Board Member Jason Frasch was honored by Associated School Boards of South Dakota (ASBSD) with the Distinguished Service Award, which honors school board members for reaching milestone years in service on their local school board.
GFP has received reports of hemorrhagic disease in deer at varying levels across South Dakota and asks for assistance in reporting dead deer. Landowners who are in the field, hunters who are scouting and beginning the early hunting seasons, and anyone else who encounters dead deer of unknown causes are encouraged to contact their local Conservation Officer or GFP Office.
In Chamberlain, Allen’s Missouri River Guide Service shared that not much has changed from last week. The shad now are around 3 inches. The mayfly hatch is ongoing and although good for the fish, isn’t always good for the fisherman. Walleye are very finicky. Precision is key. Normal summer presentations are still working.
