Christmas lighting ceremony rescheduled for this Friday

After last week’s postponement, the much-anticipated downtown Christmas tree lighting is scheduled to happen this Friday evening, December 9. Carols and coffee and visits with Santa will begin at 6:00 p.m. while B&F Variety, Klein’s Value Hardware, Dayspring Coffee Company, and Spring Creek Boutique extend their hours for shoppers.

Community Christmas Tree

The year 2022 is the 50th year of Gregory’s Community Christmas Tree, located at BankWest - the 50th year of the Gregory community giving generously to children at Christmas time. “We do it for the kids,” Kristi Roeder said of the Gregory Community Club’s community Christmas tree.
