From a dream to a winner!! Dawn Atkins grew up in the Gregory/ Burke area. Since her Dad, Don Soesbe, is a member of the Burke VFW Post #9950, a lot of time was spent being involved in the Post and Auxiliary activities. As a little girl, Dawn dreamed of growing up and doing something for the VFW and Auxiliary - something special that they would do together.

Winner Regional Health recently announced that beginning on November 21, 2022, they have begun performing 3D mammograms. They were hoping to get this notice out sooner; however, they were able to work through some final obstacles that allowed them to move forward with performing 3D mammograms. They sincerely apologize for the delay in getting this service available to the community, as they had experienced some technical issues and personnel shortages as a result of injury and health issues.
