School enrollment shows small increase over last year

Although the official enrollment numbers for school districts won’t come in until the end of September, the initial reports show a slight increase over the 2021-2022 school year. Gregory School District’s elementary is up by one student over the previous year at 315, while the high school gained four and stands at 121.

Pumped storage project generates controversy

Town investigates special tax district for parts of Grandview

The City of Gregory will consider creating a Tax Increment Financing (TIF) District to replenish funds spent on infrastructure in the Grandview Addition. “We’re paying for a lot of the street, curb, and gutters,” Mayor Al Cerny said when he introduced the idea to the council in July.
