He drove in three runs on a triple in the second and two more on a single in the fifth.

Gregory Junior Teeners 15 - Winner 0 Carter Baumgartner didn’t allow a single run as Gregory Junior Teeners defeated Winner 15-0 in the first game of a double-header against Winner on Monday, June 27, in Winner. Baumgartner allowed just three hits.

South Central Storm 2 - Plankinton Bankers 10 South Central Storm amateur baseball team fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 10-2 loss to the Plankinton Bankers on Thursday, June 23, in Plankinton. The Storm struggled to contain the Bankers’ high-powered offense, giving up ten runs in the game.

It was hot. It was windy.

Gregory County 4-H held a photography workshop in Gregory at the 4-H building from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Friday, June 10th. The youth got to take pictures with cameras, learn some basic camera skills and learn some photography terms. After the youth took the pictures, we talked about their favorite ones as a group and talked about the good things about each photo and some things that they would change about them. The youth had a blast taking pictures.

When it comes to being knowledgeable, it’s not how much we know but how much we understand. It’s one thing to have bags of information seeds stacked up in the barns of our minds, it’s more important to plant and nurture those seeds of truth to take root within our conscience. Even the devil himself has more knowledge about God than the average person, but he does not allow it to change who he is. It’s called selective thinking when facts are learned and accumulated but not acted upon. This is where we see a critical difference between knowledge and wisdom. Just because we read about how to live a victorious Christian life does not mean we will automatically be converted into a victorious overcomer. We must absorb His Word through our perception and into our spirit, all the while learning how to surrender our will and discipline our carnality.
