A city election will be held next Tuesday, April 12, from 7:00 a.m until 7:00 p.m., at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. Currently, the forecast doesn’t show any weather concerns, but in the event of bad weather, the election may be postponed one week.

Football fans in South Dakota have no problem feeding their addiction; NFL games are televised most of the year, and between high school, college, and indoor professional football, live games are played around the state from the end of August until the end of November and from March through July. Last year, the Sioux Falls Snow Leopards, South Dakota’s first professional women’s tackle football team, added another offering to the mix.

The shooters were blessed with what could be described this year as an unusually gentle wind on Saturday at the fourth annual Buffalo Butte Shoot, organized by Dillon Springer. The precision shooting competition was the scene for 44 shooters from South Dakota, Nebraska, North Dakota, and Minnesota, who had gathered to match their skills on a variety of stages, set up on the natural terrain of the lodge at Springer Century Farm.

The regular meeting of the Gregory City Council was held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2022, at City Hall. Mayor Scott Anshutz added two items to the meeting agenda — city wide clean up and advertise for bids on the well fields and Grandview Addition hay.

Auditions for Dakota Players’ original musical production of The Missing Mountain Mystery will be held Monday, April 11, 2022, at 2:45 p.m. at the Gregory School gym for BK – 8th grade students.
