Whenever you hear someone mention the “1902 Roundup,” you automatically think about the rounding up of all cattle west of the Missouri River which had strayed from their home range. Rena Grim has officially been named the new postmaster of the Gregory Post Office. A lifelong resident of Gregory, Grim started filling in at the Gregory Post Office the first of this year, and officially took over as the permanent postmaster on Saturday, March 12.

Police Chief Doug Catts’ presence has been very scarce in town for the past few months, but for good reason. He was attending law enforcement training in Pierre in order to qualify to serve in South Dakota.

The regular meeting of the Gregory School District Board of Education was held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, March 14, 2022, in the high school conference room. The Business and Industrial Development Group’s (BID) second annual career fair will be held on Tuesday, March 22, at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. The first career fair, held last year, was very successful, and this year’s event will build on that success for an even better experience for all who attend.
