A memorial service for Roger Myers is scheduled to be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at the Winner 4-H Center in Winner, SD. Mason Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Roger Keith Myers was born on February 18, 1953, in Gregory, SD - the third son of six children born to Keith and Lois (Smith). He was baptized on April 5, 1953, by Pastor Kenneth C. Farr in Dallas, SD. Roger grew up on the family place north of Dixon, SD. He enjoyed his childhood in rural South Dakota, walking to Dixon Dam to spend the evening catching fish, or playing baseball as a Dixon Dodger.

A memorial service for Wayne Meyer was held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church in Winner, SD.

Funeral services for Barbara Young were held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 27, 2023, at Brandon Valley Baptist Church in Brandon, SD.

Funeral services for Lloyd Wiedmann were held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2023, at St. John Lutheran Church in Gregory, SD, with Rev. Marcus Ring officiating. Kotrba-Smith Funeral Home of Gregory, SD, was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services were held for Terri Margaret Little Bear on Friday, January 27, 2023, at 11:00 a.m. at the Bonesteel City Hall in Bonesteel, SD, with Ken James officiating.

Leland Ray Faatz was born January 24, 1942, in Burke, SD, to Leon and Della (Fode) Faatz and passed away on January 9, 2023, in Joplin, MO, at the age of 80 years. He was married to Linda O’Quinn on May 12, 1984.

Graveside services for Jeanine Littau were held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Mountain View Cemetery in Rapid City, SD. Isburg Funeral Homes & Isburg Crematory of Spearfish, SD, was in charge of arrangements. She was born March 12, 1944, to Ben and Isabel (Stockman) Siren. Though she grew up in Gregory, SD, graduating in 1962,she spent most of her life in Naknek and Wasilla, Alaska. Jeanine was passionate about music and reading, loving both to the end. She started the band program in Bristol Bay and was always proud of the program and the amazing students she had in band, as well as all other classes she taught – from language arts and Spanish to elementary grades and nearly everything in-between. She never wanted to stop learning, achieving a doctorate and two master’s degrees as well as reading and attending writing conferences. She and Tony enjoyed traveling throughout the US and Europe, but only after fishing season was over.

Funeral services for Dennis Lengkeek were held on Monday, January 30, 2023, at 10:00 a.m. at the Union Baptist Church in Burke, SD, with Pastor Mark Tuttle officiating.

Services for Kelli Schulte will be held on a later date in the spring. Kelli Marie (Urbanski) Schulte was born on July 26, 1973, in Grand Island, NE, to Carol (Eastwood) and Jerry Urbanski. She grew up in Grand Island, NE, and graduated from Northwest High School in 1991. Kelli met some lifelong friends when she worked at a grocery store in Grand Island. Kelli went to New York City for photography training and then did photography for Walmart. After working in photography, her caring heart led her to work for Mid Plains Center. On October 3, 2009, Kelli married Henry Schulte, from Dallas, SD, where they lived.
