July 4th in Gregory filled with a variety of events

Polka! Polka! Polka! The Gregory Community Foundation’s Polka Fest drew a large crowd on Friday evening in the 4-H building. About 30 vehicles with flawless paint jobs, impeccably clean engines, and pristine upholstery were lined up in the park for the car show on the afternoon of July 4.

Sam's Farm Festival a hit with the kids

Sam’s Farm Festival was a popular spot for families to have a relaxing play time on Sunday. The Farm Festival had numerous attractions from goats, a very large pig, a sand pit, hay bales to climb, areas to play baseball and bean bags, sitting areas in the shade, and a ride on a horse-drawn wagon. Gregory 10U softball team completes successful season with third place finish

The Gregory 10U softball team entered the Rosebud League tournament as the fourth seed with a regular season record of 3-3-1. The eight-team tournament was hosted by Gregory and included Chamberlain, Lyman, Valentine, Clearfield, Winner Purple, Winner Gray, Burke, and Gregory.

Gregory Co. Teeners to play O’Neill on July 1st

Gregory Teeners 12 - Valentine 0 Noah Bearshield was brilliant on the hill on Wednesday, June 22, throwing a no-hitter to lead the Gregory Teeners past Valentine Juniors 12-0. Gregory tallied six runs in the third inning.

Gregory County Legion extends record to 4-1

Gregory County Legion 14 - Valentine 4 Bryce Frank meant business when he arrived at the ballpark on Wednesday, June 22, driving five funs on three hits to lead Gregory County Legion past Valentine 14-4 at home. He drove in three runs on a triple in the second and two more on a single in the fifth.
