American Legion presents awards

Gregory students recognized for their academic achievements

Gregory held their eighth grade graduation ceremony on Tuesday, May 10, 2022, at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium. These eighth grade students received honors for their academic achievement of earning a GPA of 3.0 to 3.45. Dakota Timanus receives Academic Excellence Award

Dakota Timanus, Gregory High School senior, attended the ASBSD Academic Excellence recognition and luncheon in Pierre on Monday, May 9, 2022. The best and brightest from the Class of 2022 were recognized for their academic achievements during their high school career.

SAL to hold monthly meeting

The Sons of the American Legion will be holding their monthly meeting on Thursday, May 19, at the Legion Post in Gregory. The meeting will start at 8:00 p.m. and all members and potential members are encouraged to attend.

Gregory Community Foundation looking for projects to fund

The First Fidelity Bank and Gregory Community Foundation are looking for non-profit groups that have a project that needs funding. For a project to be considered, a group needs only to complete an application describing what their project entails. An application form can be picked up at First Fidelity Bank, or request an application from kybs22@yahoo.com. Grants will be given for community projects, but not for operation budgets.
