Gregory County JV fell behind early and couldn’t come back in a 19-2 loss to the St. Thomas More Cavaliers on Sunday, May 1.

Chamberlain/Kimball/Lyman Varsity defeated Gregory County 3-1 on Tuesday, May 3, after taking the lead late in the game. The game was tied at one with CKL batting in the bottom of the fifth when Wiekamp singled on a 1-2 count, scoring two runs.

The IOOF, Sunshine Club, and representatives of the movie theatre came together during the 6-12 band concert and raised over $1,700.00 for the Gregory pool fund. Disney movie tunes headlined the Gregory Elementary concert, Tuesday evening, May 3, as students performed such hits as “Let It Go” from Frozen, “Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious” from Mary Poppins, and “Circle of Life” from Lion King.

Several Chamber of Commerce members were on hand to celebrate Essential Balance Day Spa’s ribbon cutting and grand opening with owners Dawn Waldner and her daughters, Jadesa Jones and Lyndra Michael.
