The District will be spraying Treflan and Round Up this spring in the plots for newly planted trees. Treflan is a pre-emergent herbicide that gives about 2-3 months of weed control, but will not last an entire growing season.

New members inducted into NHS

On Tuesday, April 26, thirteen juniors were inducted into the Gregory High School National Honor Society. Parents and members enjoyed a catered meal by Sissy’s Café, and certificates, pins, and tassels were handed out to the members.

FFA members package 50,124 meals during Living to Serve Day

The blue corduroy jacket is a familiar symbol of the FFA organization, worn as part of the official dress during most FFA activities. On April 25th at the South Dakota FFA convention in Brookings, as part of a SD FFA Living to Serve Day, members removed their jackets and rolled up their sleeves to help stop hunger.
