Elementary students participate in track and field day on May 12

The Gregory Elementary Scjool had their Track and Field Day on May 12th. The day began with track and field events in the morning. These events consisted of the 100 meter dash, 400 meter relay, high jump, long jump and softball throw. After lunch the students came back and did some fun relay races and other competitions before finishing off the day with kickball against the classes. Below are the result of the track and field events of the day.

4-hit day for Murray earns Gregory Co. Varsity victory over Hot Springs

Trey Murray did the opposing team no favors on Sunday, May 16, 2021, picking up four hits over four at-bats and leading Gregory County Varsity to a 17-2 win over Hot Springs. Murray doubled in the first and second and singled in the third fourth innings.

Three/four sport winners received recognition during awards night

Gregory students that lettered in three or four sports were recognized during awards night held at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium on Monday, May 10, 2021. Gregory senior Zane McMillen presented with full-ride scholarship

Build Dakota is a highly-competitive full-ride scholarship offered to the best and the brightest students attending one of South Dakota’s four technical colleges. It is made possible by a donation from T. Denny Sanford, a commitment from Governor Kristi Noem, and support from our industry partners. The scholarship was originally established in 2015 by T. Denny Sanford and Governor Dennis Daugaard.
