A University of South Dakota volleyball player has become the first college athlete in the state to sign a sponsorship deal after the NCAA cleared the way for college athletes to make money off their names and likenesses.

Gregory County 4-H held Silly Sand Monsters this last week. The children had an opportunity to explore their creativity, learn colors, and work their fine motor skills while creating little sand monsters. Each child was able to take home their little sand monster to enjoy.

To kick off July, 4-H held a workshop called “Crazy Crafting Fun” and it indeed was so much fun! The children etched glass jars then made their jars into candles. This group of youth showed great team building skills.
