On November 5, 2024, the Gregory Oral Interpretation Team traveled to Oacoma for district competition. The entire team advanced to regions, and they took home the top trophy. Other competitors were from Kimball, Armour, Wall, Kadoka, and White River.

On October 31, 2024, Greg and Sandy Smith of Gregory had the honor of pinning their daughter Kelsey as a Lt Col at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida, making her the fourth in the family to achieve that rank.
