Essential Balance Day Spa opening soon in Gregory

Dawn Waldner and her two daughters, Jadesa Jones and Lyndra Michael, will host an open house to launch their new business venture, Essential Balance Day Spa, on Wednesday, May 4, 2022, from 3:00-8:00 p.m., at 529 E. First Street, south of the school.

Gregory High School students to perform the play “Little Women”

The Gregory High School students will be performing the play “Little Women” by Louise May Alcott, adapted by Scott Davidson. Performances will be held on Wednesday, April 27, at 12:30 p.m., with Friday and Saturday performances at 7:00 p.m. Doors open half hour before show time, with tickets available at the door.

Gregory boys bring home golf championship

The boys golf team bested 15 other teams to claim the championship at the SESDSS Golf Tournament at the Fox Run Golf Course in Yankton, Thursday, April 14. Trey Murray led the team, shooting a 37 and 42 for a 79 for the day, good enough to tie for first place.

JV, middle school golfers hit the links at home

The middle school golf teams played at Burke on Tuesday, April 12, while the JV team hosted a meet in Gregory. Shyanna Steffen shot a 66 for the middle school girls to tie for third place.

Schools to decide on changing 2023 football

The 2023 high school football schedules may get a second look after a lengthy discussion Tuesday by the South Dakota High School Activities Association board of directors. At issue were complaints from schools that field nine-man teams and 11A schools.
