A special meeting of the Gregory City Council was held at 6:00 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2021, at City Hall. The council met in executive session to review applications for the position of City Administrator/Finance Officer.

Gregg Drees, Co-Executive Director of the Business and Industrial Development Group (BID), retired from his position in the first quarter of 2021, leaving Rick Messerschmidt as the sole director. Doug Pochop will remain on the board in the position of Past President.

The 2021 Gregory High School senior class has chosen JoAnna Lanz as the keynote speaker for commencement exercises at the Gregory Memorial Auditorium, Saturday, May 15, at 2:00 p.m. JoAnna Lanz has been teaching kindergarten for 13 years at the Gregory School.

The regular meeting of the Gregory School District Board of Education was held at 4:30 p.m., Monday, May 10, 2021, in the school library. The change from the normal time of 5:30 was because of the awards program scheduled later that evening.
