Rachelle Bloom is the new executive director for the Business and Industrial Group for the City of Gregory. She brings to the position a military and civilian background in strategic direction, talent management, professional development, and grant writing.

In June, Evonne’s Dance Studio ‘E Crew’ traveled to Florida where they were accepted to perform by Disney’s Performing Arts. They flew out of Sioux Falls Sunday evening, June 19, 2022, after first enjoying a team meal at Olive Garden.

The Gregory County Board of Commissioners met at 9:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 2, 2022, in the Gregory County Courthouse. Money moved to appropriate funds The commissioners approved a transfer of $100,000 from the commissioners contingency fund to the courthouse building fund to cover the expense of the newlyreconstructed courthouse parking lot.

Installation of new lights at football field completes school’s transition to LED

The installation of new LED lights at Mike Dacy Athletic Field was completed recently. The old lights suffered hail damage a couple years ago, and because parts and bulbs to repair them are no longer available, insurance covered the replacement cost for the upgrade.

Gregory County Teeners 11 - Avon 0 The game got off to a slow start in Gregory County’s first round win over Avon in the VFW 16U Region 2 Class B Tournament on Monday, July 25. Eight runs in the fifth inning, however, propelled Gregory to an 11-0 win.
