Lorraine Creasey was born on January 10, 1925, at home in Jamison, NE, to Lloyd and Margaret (Painter) Heyden. She attended elementary school in Nebraska and high school in South Dakota. She also was a graduate of Southern State Normal School in Springfield, SD, where she received her teaching certificate. She was united in marriage to Wendell L. Creasey on May 25, 1947 in Filer, ID.

A mass of Christian burial for Alice Humpal was held on Tuesday, May 25, 2021, at the Saints Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Butte, NE with Father Starman officiating. Music was provided by Pat Thiry and lector was Leota Reiser.

Funeral services for Walter Sharp, Jr., were held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Braman Mortuary in Omaha, NE.

A graveside memorial service for Joan Kennedy is scheduled for Saturday, May 29, 2021, 10:00 a.m. at the Mt. Hope Cemetery in Springview, NE, with Pastor Jenice Epp officiating at the service. Hoch Funeral Home of Ainsworth, NE, was in charge of arrangements.

Sherry (Sandau) Lindquist was born in Yankton, SD, on May 31, 1948, and passed away at Sanford Medical Center in Sioux Falls, SD on Tuesday, May 18, 2021 after a brief battle with cancer. Throughout her life, Sherry always said, “All I ever wanted is to be a mom”.

Funeral services for Roger Witt were held Thursday, May 20, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at the Bonesteel City Hall in Bonesteel, SD, with Pastor Samuel Crass officiating.

Wilson (Wil) was born April 2, 1919, to Clyde and Mattie (Walker) Burrill, in Gregory, SD. In his senior year of high school the family moved to Lompoc, CA, where he met Betty Gunderson. In July 1941 Wil and Betty married and the relationship lasted 73 years ending only with Betty’s passing in 2014.

Graveside services for Ronald Veskrna were held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 2:00 p.m. at the Czech National Cemetery in Gregory, SD, with Emmett Kotrba officiating.

Funeral services for Herris Lambley were held on Friday, April 30, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. in the Burke Civic Center in Burke, SD, with Pastor Mark Tuttle officiating. Jim Lambley gave the eulogy and Tyler VanMetre read the obituary.

A private family memorial service for Janet Ticknor will be held at burial. Clausen Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
