Graveside memorial services for Gerald D. Burkinshaw, age 87, of Lincoln, NE, formerly of Newport, NE area, were held April 24, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spotted Tail Cemetery near Jamison, NE. Seger Funeral Home in Atkinson, NE, was in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services for James “Jim” Fritz, age 72, of Butte, NE, were held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, April 24, 2021, at Fairfax, SD, at the Community Hall with Pastor Glen Stahlecker officiating.

Gary Fuhrman was born February 20, 1945 in Burke, SD, to Henry and Frances (Kirsch) Fuhrman. Gary graduated from Burke High School with the class of 1963.

Betty L. Micheel was born to Carl A. and Ruth (Keller) Micheel, on September 30, 1930, in Nebraska. She was the youngest of eight children. Her mother (Ruth) died when Betty was two years old, and she was raised by her father. She attended grade school in the Brownlee and Woodlake, NE, area before the family moved to the ranch south of Martin on LaCreek, in 1941. She attended grade school and high school in Bennett County, graduating from high school in 1948. She spent most of her young life riding horses, (since age two as told by her father).

Funeral services for Robert Carter were held on Thursday, April 15, 2021, at 10:30 a.m. at St.

Mass of Christian burial for Linda Hespe was held on Friday, April 9, 2021, at 10:00 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Winner, SD.

A memorial service for Pamela Muller is scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 4:00 p.m. at the St.

Gordon George Carter was born to Albert and Minnie Statelen-Carter on February 22, 1929, in Turner, MT. From first to eighth grade, Gordon attended country school before joining the Hillcrest Lutheran Bible Academy in Fergus Falls, MN.

Memorial services for Terry Muller are scheduled for Saturday, April 17, 2021, at 2:30 p.m. at the United Church of Christ in Naper, NE, with Alex Bendig officiating.

A memorial service for John Forgey was held on Saturday, April 10. 2021, at 10:30 a.m.
