The Department of Revenue’s tax collections at the 2021 Sturgis Motorcycle Rally are currently at $1,795,706. The revenue sum from temporary vendors in the Black Hills is a 34 percent increase compared to 2020.

The Gregory Community Foundation is looking for help from area residents to increase the Foundation’s ability to fund community projects. Once again residents are asked to help out by donating their Rosebud Electric capital credit checks to the foundation, The donation of this unexpected income will help the Foundation make grants to organizations that will benefit the community for years to come. Two of the most recent grants include a check for $15,000 to complete the pledge of $25,000 for the new hospital and commitment of $24,000 to raise funds for the new swimming pool.
