Dakotafest calls for woman farmer/rancher of the year nominations

The IDEAg Group LLC., producers of Dakotafest, is seeking nominations for the second-annual Dakotafest Woman Farmer/Rancher of the Year award. The Dakotafest Woman Farmer/Rancher of the Year award was launched in 2020 as part of IDE-Ag’s Dakotafest Virtual event.

Andrews takes students of Intro to Agriculture class to compete

Wednesday, March 17, 2021 Mrs. Andrews took the students of Intro to Agriculture class to compete in a FFA Career Development Event (CDE) in Tyndall. CDE’s prepare students for future careers by covering job skills in everything from communications to mechanics. Some events allow students to compete as individuals, while others allow them to compete in teams. Students had to take a test, complete identifi cation, and problem solve or complete a team activity for their chosen contest. Students that place in the top four individually or top two as a team qualify for State FFA CDE.
